Not sure what your property needs to get the best protection? Or maybe your not sure how many cameras or sensors you need? Below are some common security layouts for CCTV, Alarms and Intercoms to give you an idea of the coverage you will get with various layouts.
Tis double story home storey home requires 6 cameras to get good full coverage of the property. We've chosen to put two cameras on the porch so that both the side fence lines of the house are always in view, this is often where intruders will try to sneak in! Remote viewing is a place to access and view your cameras. Here we have suggested the living room TV but you can also choose to have a monitor installed anywhere in your home and we can set up streaming there, and of course with all of our systems you will always have full access right from your mobile phone.
The NVR is a small unit recorder box. We always recommend to put this in a cupboard, often the hallway cupboard is best. Don't choose to put it in your bedroom as some units can make a very light humming sound at night which could bother you if your a light sleeper!
This double story home has a balcony , another sneaky location that intruders will try to get in. We recommend at least four sensors to ensure coverage of all entry points - front door, laundry door, alfresco door and balcony. The keypad is conveniently place in the entry hallway with quick easy access from the front door or the garage entry door, this of course can be moved depending on which door you use most often. The internal siren should be central to the house with the external siren being in a visible spot with a good street view, this so the neighbours can also see it flashing.
The alarm panel is a small white box that does not need to be accessed by you. We suggest that it be placed out of site in a hallway cupboard.
Do yo really want to be rushing downstairs every time the door bell rings?! In double story homes we suggest two indoor monitors so that you have complete access from upstairs at all time.
Depending on weather or not you choose a door bell with a camera will depend on the type of mount used, but generally your door bell will always go close to the front entry door.
